It’s only fitting that after the 2011 release of both The Sea LP and The Tempest 7″ that we would film Las Vegas’ own Holding Onto Sound in the aquatic room at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. HOTS’ frontman/guitarist Bennett Mains and bassist Zabi Naqshband braved the shark’s ferocious bite to perform two songs for the Stripped Down Sessions – live favorite “Tommy Boy” from The Sea and the previously unreleased “Searching.” Learn the words and be prepared to sing along as they ring in the New Year at the House of Blues’ New Year’s Heave show with NOFX, Lagwagon and Old Man Markley!
