Agent Orange surprises everyone at Evel’s Pie Birthday Party, November 11, 2018

Eve Pie celebrated their second anniversary with free cake and pizza, a perfect soundtrack of punk rock provided by DJ’s Atomic and Adam Segal and did I mention free pizza? Suddenly the “terrible twos” don’t seem so terrible.

Then there was the night’s big surprise, a performance from California punk legends Agent Orange!

The trio came out shortly after 7:30 p.m. with a setlist that was larger than most tour posters. Not bad for a free show (or any show, let’s be honest). They dedicated the set to former bassist Steve Soto, the punk rock lifer who sadly passed away earlier this year. And I’m sure he would have been proud to see people smiling, dancing and singing along to favorites like “Everything Turns Grey,” “Bloodstains” and a over of “Somebody to Love,” the latter of which was played after someone requested “Free Bird.” Thank you for not playing “Free Bird.”
