The singer/songwriter, whose last full-length 12 Songs came out in 2006 on Madjack Records, is bringing his charismatic live show on the road this summer, touring with Joey Cape’s Bad Loud, the latest project from the Lagwagon/Bad Astronaut frontman. The bluegrass punks in Old Man Markley made a big splash at last year’s Punk Rock Bowling music festival. Since then they have signed to Fat Wreck Chords and released their debut full length, the excellent Guts ‘n Teeth. Fresh off returning to Vegas to play Punk Rock Bowling 2011, they stopped by the Double Down Saloon last night to kick off their Oot n’ A Boot Tour. The final day of Punk Rock Bowling started with bluegrass punks Old Man Markley playing a pool party at the Gold Spike. Over on the blacktop at Fremont East, the music festival was well underway with Stagger and Fall, Reducers SF, Citizen Fish, Manic Hispanic, The Dwarves, Leftover Crack, Agnostic Front, and finally Cock Sparrer, who expressed excitement to be playing their first shows ever in Vegas. ...
