Break-ups: The Objex (2006-2014)

We’re sad to report that local punk rock band The Objex has decided to call it quits.

A message posted on their vocalist Felony Melony’s Facebook page today and later shared by the band reads:

To all my Objex fans,

I love and appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart. The Objex would not have been The Objex without all of you. So it pains me to say The Objex will no longer be having shows or new albums. You can contact James Malcolm for authentic custom made Objex jackets made by Vanessa Irino. Thank you girl, you’re amazing! In addition to our archive albums, clothing, as well as our latest album SUPER CHARGED LIL NOVA. I have many new exciting things in store, if you want to keep up, friend me at MELANIE TROXLER.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Thank you, keep rocking Melanie Troxler AKA Felony Melony

This news follows up a big 2014 for the provocative band, a year that saw them play the Punk Rock Bowling mainstage, release new EP Super Charged Little Nova and only a month ago release a music video for their song “Grrr.”

We wish the members of The Objex the best of luck in future endeavors!
