Dave Hause is known and loved by many as the lead singer for The Loved Ones, which is one of my favorite bands of the past decade. But Hause also has a thriving solo career, releasing the excellent Resolutions earlier this year on Paper + Plastick Records. While at the Hard Rock Café on the Strip in Las Vegas and before his set opening up for Alkaline Trio, Hause sat down with Punks in Vegas to record a Stripped Down Session. Melodic hardcore/punk band Such Gold made a stop in Las Vegas last night on their way to the Sound and Fury festival in Santa Barbara, playing an enthusiastic show at the Knight Hall with Last Call, The Greenery, and Maker. Van trouble, bar fights, and a mysteriously absent sound guy weren’t enough to stop Nothington from putting on an awesome show at the Bunkhouse on Monday night.
