Deadhand takes requests for Sept. 17 acoustic covers show

Deadhand’s September residency at Hypnotic Lounge continues this Saturday, Sept. 17 with a night full of acoustic covers. They’re currently taking requests on their Facebook. Get yours in early so they have a chance to learn the song! I already put in my request for The Beach Boys’ “Kokomo” because I have hopes that Uncle Jesse will materialize from thin air to play the drums.

On another note, have you always wished that the back of your head could be famous? Or that your voice could be captured forever, singing along with the smooth stylings of Deadhand? Well, here is your chance. We’ll be filming Deadhand’s set, so you should come out and be a part of the magic.

As if all this wasn’t enough to make you rush to Hypnotic Lounge that night, did we mention that No Red Alice (Sal from TheCore.), Jesse Pino, and Jerrad (from I am the Thief) will be playing as well? Don’t miss out.

In the meantime, you can watch Brendan and Jarred of Deadhand performing “Back Up” acoustic for Punks in Vegas here, and the duo playing an acoustic cover of NOFX’s “Linoleum” here.
