Chilly winds and ominous clouds couldn’t dull the enthusiasm from the crowd attending the second straight sold-out day of Punk Rock Bowling. Descendents made their triumphant return to Vegas after a 14 year absence, Milo’s voice sounding as good as ever as the band ripped through a number of classics including “Hope,” “Suburban Home,” “I’m the One,” “I Like Food,” “Nothing With You,” “Bikeage” (with Fat Mike and Joey Cape providing backing vocals), and show closer “Thank You.” Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Bouncing Souls, Undertones, Black Pacific, American Steel, Larry and his Flask, and Johnny Madcap & The Distractions also played, and Steven Matview was there to photograph the whole thing.
