Local punks The Civilians have signed with Crowd Control Media, a label that seems to specialize in street punk and oi. The band will be releasing a full length through the label in September.
Hailing from Henderson, Nevada, The Civilians play working class-themed street rock and name their influences as Sham 69, Motorhead and Stiff Little Fingers.
If you can’t wait until their album’s release in September, you can still listen to The Civilians via the Desert Rats With Baseball Bats Vol. 2 compilation released earlier this year by SquidHat Records. Their contribution to the compilation, “We Survive,” is streaming here.
