Stripped Down Session: Gentlemen Prefer Blood

LA’s Gentlemen Prefer Blood may have taken their name from a Rudimentary Peni song, but their sound comes more from the vintage Lookout Records catalog than those anarcho-punks, and that’s right in my wheelhouse.

The guys were on tour with Western Settings and DFMK when they stopped in to record two songs – “Nearly Invisible” and “Scene Despoiler.”

If you like what you hear, you can pick up their latest release, Used Guns and Books, now via La Escalera Records.
