Stripped Down Session: JT Woodruff (Hawthorne Heights)

I wouldn’t blame you for wondering if JT Woodruff has a second home here in Vegas. It seems like the singer/songwriter always has a gig booked here, whether solo or with his band Hawthorne Heights (much to the delight of his fans). I’ve wanted to film a session with him for a while, and our schedules finally aligned last month.

We filmed two songs, “Red Eyes,” which comes from last year’s Field Medicine LP and “Ghost/Spirit/Preacher,” which can be found on Woodruff’s 2012 release Ghost Coastal. Both albums are available on Woodfruff’s webstore.

Special thanks to TJ of Suckerpunch/Beauty Bar for letting us film in the Beauty Bar before the gig.
