San Diego’s Todd Allen has spent years as a member of punk rock band Squarecrow, but recently, he decided to pack up and move east – and on the way, he stopped in Vegas to play a solo gig at The Dive.
When I ended up short a guitar while filming with Bad Cop / Bad Cop next door to The Dive at Alternate Reality Comics, Sal Giordano (No Red Alice, TheCore.) got me in touch with Allen, who was still hanging in the neighborhood. He not only came through with the guitar loaner but wowed us with a session of his own.
If you like what you hear, Squarecrow has their music as a pay-what-you-can download via bandcamp, while Allen has his solo work up for $5 on his bandcamp.
