Stripped Down Session: Yotam Ben Horin (Useless ID)

A lot of our readers know Yotam Ben Horin as the frontman for Israel pop punk band Useless ID. But Yotam has also been making a name for himself as a singer/songwriter, racking up tours with our pals Brock Frabbiele and Jason Cruz.

Before his show with Sic Waiting at Beauty Bar last month, Yotam performed for us “Where’s The Time” and “Heaven Sent,” a cover of Jawbreakers’ “I Love You So Much It’s Killing Us Both” and Useless ID track “Symptons.”

Next up for Yotam is a spot on this year’s Punk Rock Bowling Music Festival, playing a club show with Frank Turner and Laura Jane Grace May 23 at the Bunkhouse, a show that we’re a bit overly ecstatic about. He’ll also be playing a matinee gig that same day at the Beauty Bar.

We caught up with Yotam at the Beauty Bar before his gig with Sic Waiting (thanks to Suckerpunch Records for letting us in early to film). If you like what you hear, you can check out more of his music on Bandcamp.

You can also watch all four videos as one playlist on our YouTube page.
