I first discovered Avalon Landing when the Vegas-by-way-of-Buffalo pop rock band opened for Laura Stevenson and the Cans at the now out-of-commission Bunkhouse Saloon. I was instantly impressed by their insanely tight harmonies, which are in full effect in these Stripped Down Sessions.
A few days after the release of their debut album Reside, I met up with the guys at their home to record two songs from the LP, “About Face” and “No Apologies.”
