Stripped Down Session: The Forget Me Nows (two songs)

When I first saw Vegas pop punk act The Forget Me Nows open for Ataris earlier this year, I said their blend of humor and punk reminded me of Devon Kay and the Solutions. Fast-forward 8 months and The Forget Me Nows are sharing the stage with Devon Kay’s other band Direct Hit!, – what are the odds? (Actually, The Forget Me Nows was a very popular band choice, and the chances were one in eight). Personally,  I don’t think there’s been a better match since  Buster and Lucille 2.

The Sept. 10 Direct Hit!, Forget Me Nows, Bombpops, Mercy Music show is being put on by Punks in Vegas and Pulsar, and we know you’re going to be there, because you wouldn’t miss all that awesome! But if you need convincing for some reason, here is The Forget Me Nows performing two songs at PIV photog Aaron Mattern’s place. We must warn you they are scarier than a loose seal, so watch with the lights on.
