Mikey Erg is a punk rock renaissance man, singing and/or drumming in bands like The Ergs!,The Copyrights, The Unlovables and The LLC. Most recently, Erg released his long-awaited solo debut, Tentative Decisions, which is perfect for fans of 90s indie rock like Superchunk and Archers of Loaf.
I met up with Mikey before his show at the Beauty Bar with The Falcon to record two songs from Tentative Decisions – “An Abundance Of Julies” and “1001 Smashed Motel Rooms.”
