Tuesday at the Bunkhouse Saloon was an acoustic, and international affair, late last month.

First were the locals. Jesse Pino let loose his punk side for a cover of the now 20 year old Lagwagon classic “Messengers.”

Brock Frabbiele adopted a Seamus McFly accent for an energetic rendition of “Seize the Carp.”

Then the touring artists, Dan Toren and Yotam Ben Horin from Israel. Toren’s set was surprisingly short and included “song for K,” which he said was written about author Franz Kafka. Yotam closed out the night, his warm presence making the room feel fuller than it actually was. He brought Toren back out for a few songs and played a fantastic rendition of “Pet Sematary,” originally by the Ramones.
