In a post today on Facebook, Henderson indie hardcore band Caravels announced the first tentitive set of dates for their Fall U.S. tour. Not all dates have been confirmed. The band issued the following statement, looking for help in filling and confirming the remaining dates: "This note has a few purposes. Firstly to allow ourselves and others to keep track of dates and cities we are trying to book, or may have already confirmed. Also to try and build some dialog between you guys and us about the shows, possibly setting one up in your area, or really what ever kind of random stuff you would want to tell us! Holding Onto Sound, The Clydesdale, and more will be performing downtown this week as part of the first annual Arts District Earth Day Cleaning event which runs from Wednesday 4/20 to Friday 4/22. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some good bands, some good company, and to do something positive for the community. The event kicks off at 3:00PM each day, with the bands scheduled to go on between 6:30 and 7:00PM. It's not too late to get a little cleaning in today, and there are still two more days to pitch in.
