I had a lot to celebrate last week. My friend Samantha and I rented a room at the Hard Rock on Paradise (RIP) for our annual birthday party. While staying there, we got to see Joyce Manor play Vegas for the very first time. (I also changed my byline on this site, which is pretty exciting!)
One of the show’s openers was New York-based emo band Oso Oso and since they released my absolute favorite album of 2019 I, of course, invited them up to the room to film the first Stripped Down Session of the new decade.
A Moscow Mule later, Oso Oso leader Jade Lilitri was ready to play four songs for us, three of which come from last year’s Basking in the Glow. Fans of the songs can purchase the album now via Triple Crown Records.
