Featured Music: Against Me! “Because of the Shame”

Next Saturday, May 26 is the kind of day that is both a blessing and a curse for a music fan. Punk Rock Bowling and its various night shows are bringing punk’s finest to town to play the annual festival while a bevy of other bands play scattered, smaller shows across the city.

One show that we hope doesn’t get lost in the shuffle is Punks in Vegas favorite Against Me!, playing in our sister city of Henderson at the M Resort, opening for classic British rockers The Cult.

In case you need extra swaying to get out there to see one of the best live bands around, we are bringing you “Because of the Shame” by Against Me!, which comes from their 2010 release White Crosses.

So when MU330 were announced as part of the Viva Ska Vegas lineup I knew I had to take this chance to get him in for a couple of songs. Read More »
