A few years back I was setting up a session with AJJ – and then I got sick. I always wished I had been able to make it happen at that time.
Thankfully, we were able to get together earlier this month before the folk-punk band played a matinee show at Zia East and it was worth the wait. The group was super nice and really cool about making this happen on short notice (I had just returned home from Nashville), so thank you, AJJ!
We met up at Rebar to film four songs, including a two from the band’s brand new album Good Luck Everybody. If you like what you hear, you can purchase the new album via the AJJ’s website.
