Time to dust off your Hawaiian shirts, as perennial Punk Rock Bowling favorites Me First and the Gimme Gimmies and Manic Hispanic have been added to this year’s Punk Rock Bowling Festival for a club show at The Bunkhouse on Friday, May 22.
The All Brights, featuring Matt Wilson from Code 4-15, Dave Hause from the Loved Ones, Patrick Solem from Murderland and Sean Sellers from Good Riddance, are also on the bill.
Me First bassist Fat Mike (NOFX) and guitarist Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters) will not be appearing at this show (that’s bad!). Bad Religion members Jay Bentley and Brian Baker will join Spike Slawson, Joey Cape and Dave Raum to complete the lineup (that’s good!).
Me First last released release Are We Not Men? We Are Diva! via Fat Wreck Chords shortly before Punk Rock Bowling last year (you can read our review of that album here) but their last appearance at the festival was a club show in 2013 (you can see our coverage of that show here).
Tickets for this show go on sale Saturday, April 11 at 1 pm PST via the Punk Rock Bowling website.
