Newslang to release new single

LAS VEGAS, NV – Alternative rock outfit Newslang is set to release  their latest single, “//breathe,” on May 5, ushering in a new chapter for the band’s heavy, melodic sound. To support the release, a lyric video created by local multimedia artist Brian Gibson will debut across YouTube and social media platforms.

Drawing comparisons to the expansive atmosphere of the Smashing Pumpkins and the gritty, rhythmic drive of Queens of the Stone Age, Filter, and Deftones, Newslang is quickly becoming a notable fixture in the Las Vegas music scene. “//breathe” captures this signature blend of power and melody, offering a high-octane preview of the band’s upcoming releases throughout the year.

Fans will have multiple opportunities to experience Newslang’s wall-of-sound performance live this summer:

• Friday, May 9: Rooftop Terrace (at Hustler’s Club), 6007 Dean Martin Drive. Entry is free before 10 p.m. and $20 after 10 p.m. (includes a complimentary drink).
• Friday, July 25: Dustland in Downtown Las Vegas. Newslang will be joined by High Sierra Club and an additional opener to be announced.
