PRB Updates: Booze & Glory, Sniper 66 to Play Pool Party, Bob Log III to Play Matinee Set, Anti-Flag go Acoustic at 11th Street

Memorial Day weekend in Vegas is already a busy time of year if you’re fan of punk rock and now, things just got a little busier!

The first 2015 Punk Rock Bowling Pool Party – better known to some as “free bath afternoons” – has just been announced.

A post on Punk Rock Bowling’s  facebook page reads:

You’ve been asking, and we’re thrilled to announce one of three #‎PRB2015‬ Pool Parties taking place at Plaza Hotel and Casino Pool. On 5/25 from 12pm – 3pm pre-party with Booze & Glory Sniper 66 & DJ Gonzo & Low Life Sound System.

Also announced is an early evening gig for Bob Log III, perfect for fans that missed out on tickets for his now sold out May 23 Club Show with Frank Turner and Laura Jane Grace.

According to PRB’s facebook page:

Just added, the one man band slide guitar master -Bob Log III will be performing a Happy Hour set in Rush Lounge at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino on 5/22 from 6pm – 8pm. Stop by, grab a drink and watch his set! #PRB2015

Meanwhile, political punks Anti Flag, who will be rocking the PRB mainstage on May 23, will be rocking a little more quietly at 11th Street Records on May 22.

According to 11th Street’s facebook page:

11th Street Records and National Southwestern Recording in Downtown Las Vegas are pleased to announce that iconic political punk band Anti-Flag will be performing a special acoustic set in-studio on Friday, May 22nd, at 7:30pm. The performance is on the eve of the band’s appearance at the annual Punk Rock Bowling Festival held in Downtown Las Vegas. The band will be performing classic songs, as well as material from it’s upcoming album, American Spring, which will be released the following Tuesday, May 26th.There will be merch giveaways, and the band will be doing a signing as part of the event. Guests will also be able to purchase the limited edition vinyl version of American Spring ahead of release date at the event!

The event will be filmed and recorded as part of the 11th Street Sessions series. Space will be very limited, and the event will be free. Get there early to be sure you get in for this very special event!
