Local, long-running punk/hardcore band Guilty by Association is the latest to be picked up by SquidHat Records.
GBA has been a fixture of the Vegas punk scene since 2001 and during that time the band has opened for the likes of Voodoo Glow Skulls, Guttermouth and The Dwarves as well as playing the Punk Rock Bowling main stage in 2010.
The band announced the signing on their Facebook page:
“Guilty by Association is stoked to announce we just signed a record deal with SquidHat Records. They will be rereleasing [our] last two CDs on one new double cd in July and releasing are new cd later this year all with national distribution. Summer tour’s to come!!!”
The two CDs in question are 2010’s American Decay and 2006’s Detox.
GBA will also be featured on SquidHat Records’ upcoming compilation Desert Rats with Baseball Bats. You can find more information on that release here.
