After much waiting and speculation, the first batch of Punk Rock Bowling late shows will finally be announced on Friday, April 15th.
This information was revealed in the following Facebook post from BYO Records, posted earlier today:
“There will be some late night shows announced next Friday April 15th! You’ll just have to wait till then to find out who else will be playing and where. It’s all going to be on the PRB website. Patience people, patience!”
Information has already leaked on two of the late night shows, one featuring Swingin’ Utters, Cobra Skulls, and Cadillac Tramps and another, bowlers-only show featuring Citizen Fish and Manic Hispanic. Meanwhile, Street Dogs and Old Man Markley both verbally confirmed that they are among the 30+ bands participating in the late night events, while Shawn Stern confirmed that NOFX and Youth Brigade will NOT be playing this year’s festival.
More information will be posted as it’s revealed, so keep close watch because these late night shows are in much smaller venues than the day shows and tickets will likely go quickly.
UPDATE: Another post from BYO Records has the band announcement on 4/11 with ticket sale date 4/15:
“Ok, we will make announcements for the late night shows on Monday 4/11 and tickets will go onsale Friday 4/15 on the PRB website. That is all.”
More info will of course be posted as soon as we hear anything.
