Local punk rock band The Mapes has released a new music video for their song “Tits.” The video was filmed at the Double Down Saloon by none other than Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Entertainment, which makes perfect sense, as the band’s provocative humour is basically a Troma Film brought to life and given instruments.
The song itself comes from the band’s 2010 self-titled release, which you can purchase now via the group’s website or from Recess Records Japan because hey, why not?
If you’re looking to catch the band live well, you may be out of luck. The band announced their final show in November, though their first reunion took place only a week after. Maybe a Cher-like final tour will follow? (Certainly the band must believe in life after love? Or something something If I could turn back time.)
