Local punks The People’s Whiskey have signed to Vegas-based indie label SquidHat Records, joining the young label’s already-impressive roster of local favorites The Quitters, The Gashers, Pet Tigers and The Dirty Panties.
The signing was a result of a battle of the bands that culminated in a showcase at the Double Down Saloon. Candy Warpop, Surrounded by Thieves, Civilians, Guilty by Association and Hard Pipe Hitters also participated in the battle, reminding us just how impressive our local punk scene is.
Congratulations to The People’s Whiskey! We look forward to hearing your first SquidHat release!
