The bluegrass punks in Old Man Markley made a big splash at last year’s Punk Rock Bowling music festival. Since then they have signed to Fat Wreck Chords and released their debut full length, the excellent Guts ‘n Teeth. Fresh off returning to Vegas to play Punk Rock Bowling 2011, they stopped by the Double Down Saloon last night to kick off their Oot n’ A Boot Tour. Before the show, singer/guitarist John Carey and fiddler Katie Weed were gracious enough to play Song Songs, a track from Guts ‘n Teeth, exclusively for the Punks in Vegas Stripped Down Sessions.
