I’ve been following vocalist/guitarist Dan Potthast’s career for years, discovering him as frontman for ska punks MU330 and later falling in love with his solo work (not to mention the excellent Dan P and the Bricks). So when MU330 were announced as part of the Viva Ska Vegas lineup I knew I had to take this chance to get him in for a couple of songs. We filmed this across the street from the Henderson Events Plaza between MU330’s and Aquabats sets. We had a few unexpectedly loud passerbys (listen closer to “I Miss Missing You” to hear one of them) but the songs are great and I’m excited to share them with you: “Beautiful Night,” “I Miss Missing You” and “Hold Me Now.”
