My Iron Lung was one of the first bands I met while running Punks in Vegas and we’ve long since been trying to set up a Stripped Down Session, with circumstances always getting in the way. I finally sat down with MIL frontman Matthew Fitzpatrick at Yayo Taco Jan. 26, as he was coming through town on a solo tour with San Diego post-hardcore band Keyes. The song is “Family Traits” and it originally comes from My Iron Lung’s Grief EP, which is available now via Pure Noise Records.
