Stripped Down Session: The Sidekicks (two songs)

Living in the bachelor party capital of the U.S. probably makes my decision to celebrate in Pomona with an all-ages The Menzingers, Cheap Girls and The Sidekicks show strange to some. But I wouldn’t have had it any other way because it was definitely one of the best shows I’ve seen so far this year. After the show, The Sidekicks and I (with groomsmen in tow) filmed some outdoor Stripped Down Sessions while braving wind, erratic sprinklers and possibly the world’s slowest train. Their latest record Awkward Breeds came out earlier this year on Red Scare Industries and they played two songs from that release,  “Looker” and “Grace," at a train station in Pomona. ...
