The Viva Ska Vegas festival kicked off with a fantastic pre-show on April 27 at The Aruba featuring ska-tinged punks The Flatliners. Before the show, the Fat Wreck Chords band from Ontario was gracious enough to film three songs for the Stripped Down Sessions. After filming one video above the stage at the Aruba, we moved outside during sound check for some impromptu parking lot filming. Vocalist/guitarist Chris Cresswell and guitarist Scott Brigham play “Monumental” from their 2010 release Cavalcade as well as covers of fellow Fat Wreck bands Dillinger Four’s “Maximum Piss and Vinegar” and Dead to Me’s “Arrhythmic Palpitations.”
