Stripped Down Session: Mark Rose (Spitalfield)

Chicago’s Spitalfield was one of the catchiest – and most under-appreciated – pop punk bands of the early 2000s. The band’s frontman is currently keeping the awesomeness going with a career as a singer/songwriter, and we were able to meet up with him before his gig with JT Woodruff to record two songs.

The songs are “Well & Diet” and “The One Where it Didn’t Work Out,” both from Rose’s latest LP The Wild Type. If you like what you hear, you can get a copy now through Invogue Records.

Special thanks to TJ of Suckerpunch/Beauty Bar for letting us film in the Beauty Bar before the gig.
