I first came across San Diego’s Western Settings when they played The Dive last year with our pals in Success. The band is super catchy – kind of in the vein of Latterman and that band’s offshoots. Seeing them play live the first time around, I instantly regretted not hitting them up for a session.
Thankfully, a year later, they were back in town and we were able to get two songs in. The guys came over to PIV photog Aaron Mattern’s place to film two songs – “Kicking and Screaming” and “Get It, Got It.”
