The sessions we filmed with Modern Baseball a few years ago remain some of my favorites, so I was thrilled to get the chance to film a few more with MoBo co-frontman Brendan Lukens while he was passing through town on tour with Broken Beak.
We met at the Las Vegas Zine Library, where Lukens treated us to acoustic renditions of two songs from MoBo’s recently-released third studio album Holy Ghost, which you can purchase now via Run For Cover Records.
If you’re up for a drive, Modern Baseball will be opening for the legendary Descendents in California on Sept. 29 and Oct. 1. MoBo fans in Vegas will get a chance to see the band Nov. 1 in support of Brand New and the Front Bottoms at The Chelsea Theatre.
