Red Scare Industries is one of my favorite labels and Direct Hit! is one of my favorite bands, so the announcement last year that they’d be teaming up for Direct Hit!’s Brainless God was a match made in Steven heaven.
Fast forward a year and Red Scare is 10 years old and to celebrate, they put out one of the best comps I’ve seen since the heyday of Punk-O-Rama. DH! contributed a new song, “Bad Trip on Holy Ghost,” and frontman Nick Woods played it for us at Cash for Chaos before his band’s show in Vegas at The Dive.
