5 Songs I Hope I Hear at the Beabadoobee Show

Beabadoobee is playing in Las Vegas at 24 Oxford on April 18th.  Our photographer Christopher Mounts wrote about what he hopes to hear.

The 5 Songs I Hope I Hear at the beabadoobee Show

1. Apple Cider
This was the first song by beabadoobee that I had ever heard. I don’t remember how exactly I heard it, but I remember it being stuck in my head for days. It’s one of those songs that I’ll restart before it even finishes.

2. Worth It
I can’t seem to get my car stereo loud enough when this song comes on. It would fit perfectly in a coming of age movie soundtrack and I don’t know how to explain it any better than that.

3. Yoshimi, Forest, Magdalene
What an album closer, seriously. It’s loud, fast, fun, and easy to sing along too. I bet the crowd will all in on this one.

4. Talk
I think this song is a sure bet with it being the lead single for Beatopia, which coincidentally is one of my most anticipated records of the year.

5. 1999
I feel like of all the songs listed, this one is the biggest long shot. It’s absolutely the slowest song on the list but I feel like it would fit really well right in the middle of the set to give everyone a bit of a resting period while still being totally engaged. The guitars in this song are so hypnotizingly beautiful, it would be great to be able to see this played live.

Bonus songs with no explanation:
Dye It Red, You Lie All The Time, and How Was Your Day
