Jello Biafra to take the stage with Reverend Horton Heat at 12/28 Vegas show

rev

Recent Victory Records signees and rockabilly veterans The Reverend Horton Heat are rolling back through town Dec. 28 and this time, we’re in for an even bigger treat than usual.

For their show at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Vinyl (as well as the Hollywood, Anaheim and Ventura, CA stops), Jello Biafra (formerly of Dead Kennedys) will be joining Rev on vocals.

Here’s the official details:

Dallas, Texas’ THE REVEREND HORTON HEAT are currently headlining the STEWED, SCREWED and TATTOOED tour across fifty-seven cities and are ready to take over the West Coast.  They have pulled out all the stops and are ready to deliver fans a unique once in a lifetime experience. For the first time ever, beginning December 27th in Hollywood and going through the 30th in Ventura, California the Rev will take a step back from the alter as the legendary punk rocker and activist Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedy’s) takes over onvocals. Back by popular demand, the two rock immortals will be sharing the stage, ready to take back the scene they started years ago.

Reverend Horton Heat last played Vegas at the House of Blues on June 6th (you can see our coverage of that show here). Biafra was scheduled to play two Vegas shows with his band The Guantanamo School of Medicine in May of 2011, but the shows were canceled due to an illness in the family.

Can’t miss it? Tickets are on sale now.
