Motion City Soundtrack are about to embark on a series of multi-day residencies in a series of 7 cities where they will be playing their entire discography to eager fans. In between these epic runs, the band has scheduled a one-off date in Las Vegas this Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, playing with local openers The Lips. But the question on every local fan’s mind has been “what songs will the band play here?” And the answer: anything we want.
According to the venue’s Facebook, the band will be playing a set of requests, which only makes sense considering they had to master their entire catalog for the ambitious four album tour and now have over 50 songs at their disposal. If you’re going to be attending the show, make sure to have your voice heard. Head over to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip’s Facebook and cast your vote (I’ll be throwing my hat in the ring for “Capital H“).
