Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) is an excellently rad indie/emo band from Michigan led by Count Your Lucky Stars Records founder Keith Latinen. When they announced a date in Vegas I knew I wanted to film a Stripped Down Session with them and I have Cory from Caravels to thank for setting this up.
The band played their song “The Only One Who Could Ever Reach You,” which comes from their 7” On Time Spent Waiting or Placing the Weight of the World on the Shoulders of Those You Love the Most which is out now on Topshelf Records.
