Stripped Down Session: Maker “Earthquakes”

Last month, the members of Springfield, MA’s Maker were involved in an awful car accident while en route to Texas, leaving one member of the band in critical condition on top of losing their gear and vehicle. Maker guitarist Eric Soucy decided to continue their tour with Major League and Turnover acoustically to continue to make money for the group, and many bands and fans have donated money in support of getting them back on their feet.

We met up with Soucy before the tour’s December 7th stop in Vegas to shoot an impromptu session behind an autoparts store near where he was playing. Soucy played the song “Earthquakes” from the band’s Mirrors LP.

If you are able to donate to help this great band pull things back together, the guys have set up a paypal account at makerdonations@gmail.com.
