Stripped Down Session: Alexander the Terrible (two songs)

I only just heard Vegas-based bluegrass troubadour Alexander the Terrible for the first time at the Waxahatchee/Dogbreth show in April, and I was instantly impressed with her enthusiasm and blisteringly fast finger plucking skills, I knew I had to get him in for a Stripped Down Session.

Hunter and I met with Ms. The Terrible at Emergency Arts in downtown Vegas where we were graciously allowed to take up a small corner of their Las Vegas Zine Library to film two songs. If you’re downtown at all, especially those of you coming out for Punk Rock Bowling, I encourage you to peruse the large catalog for some very cool snapshots of Vegas’ music past.

The songs are “Desert Dweller” and “Reuban’s Train” and both can be found on Alexander the Terrible’s Desert Dweller EP, which is available now on Bandcamp.
