A few years back, Gregory Michael Davis and I talked about filming a session. About a year ago we ran into each other and video talks started again. We finally made it happen last week at ReBAR. If I was to keep with tradition I’d wait a year to release the video.
In all seriousness, I’m stoked things worked out this way. Davis is releasing a new album on August 23 at Vinyl and to celebrate, his session is a medley of new tracks. The playing was so fire that my camera overheated (or maybe that was because it was 118 degrees).
