One of my favorite shows of the last few years was Street Dogs’ 2011 headlining show at the Beauty Bar with Have Nots and Lenny Lashley opening. Fast-forward two years and Lashley and Have Nots’ Matt Pruitt are in Street Dogs and I’m meeting up with them backstage before their Dec. 7 show at the Las Vegas Country Saloon to film two acoustic songs.
At my request, the band played “Punk Rock and Roll” from their 2010 self-titled album, a song they said they’d never played acoustic before but were up to the challenge, and the Lashley penned and fronted, holiday-themed “Anti-X-Mas Song.”
